AltRider Reinforcement Crash Bars are engineered to strengthen factory crash bar systems compatible with BMW R 1250 GS BMW R 1250 OEM crash bars and stock crash bars for Adventure model. Designed for riders who rely on their bike for both long highway miles and off-road exploration, this reinforcement system adds structural support where OEM crash bars can be vulnerable.Constructed from 1 inch (25.4 mm) stainless steel tubing, each bar is laser cut, CNC bent, and hand TIG welded for consistent strength and durability. The design channels impact forces in a more direct line toward the motorcycle's frame, helping support the overall crash bar structure during tip-overs and uneven terrain use.A key component of the system is the included heat-treated, CNC-machined engine through bolt. This replaces common plastic insert designs and provides a more rigid mounting point at the engine. The reinforcement bars attach to OEM crash bars using full wrap, two part high strength alloy industrial clamps secured to 3/16 inch thick mounting flanges.Finished in a silver electro-polish to closely complement factory bars, the system integrates cleanly with the bike's original appearance.
